Joining a cooperative house is done through a process called mosey, a period of getting to know the house and its members. It's similar to rush in Greek life. You come to the house, get to know current house members, and get a feel for the vibe. Mosey is important because a co-op may become your home and you want to feel at home where you live. It is also important as a way to show commitment, as that is a big part of community living.
In order to be considered in the lottery you must attend at least two events and a cook group. A list of events can be seen below.
